JAUNT!

for some reason i’ve never had such an urge to don lipstick before. wait. nevermind.

the french/german duo who brought such works like ‘travelling’ into existence come back at you again with their new chart topping single, ‘lipstick’. jaunt, who is one half vincent fries and the other half club84, is based out of germany and france.

I had the chance to talk to vince over skype as we had a very englightening and awkward conversation, in english of course! haha. “we just make music, however it feels. that’s about it” said vincent, when asked about what goes into the production of his music. not many producers today make music for the sake of making music. I found him to be akin to the older generation. he still buys and stores records, works solely on hardware instruments, and definitely is in touch with his 80s roots.

‘lipstick’ will build and fall like a true french house piece, retaining its freshness and element of suprise, starting with the anticipating hum of electric pads phasing around your ears and through your brain which open up into journey of melodic sound. check it out for yo’self! show them some love, hit them up on their space and if you really like it buy their single at beatport here
