Howdy folks!

As your most entrusted tropical disco movement, we encourage and welcome your participation in our doings. Get personally involved via facebook and soundcloud. We expect to fulfill your every crack/fix/need, and hope you find enough favor to support our artists. We give a lot of music away for free, and when we don't, it's for the petty price of a dollar. You can't even get a donut for that these days! So the next time you're at the ripper joint, think about your loyal crusaders before splashing a stack of $1 bills in the air ;)

claes rosen

now i don’t often indulge my passionate prog-house likings here on the blog much, but this gem is a tune that cannot go unshared. if you have a tongue for feel good taste, you’ll understand why i deviate for the sake of your musical exploration, from everything posted before this. claes rosén, sweden’s internationally renowned progressive house rockstar, and also part of (again, internationally renowned) melodic dubstep-kings l-wiz, allowed me to write up and share delirious from his latest EP out on nellie recordings.

not many artists tend to make good use of the portamento/pitch bend wheel these days. it’s a thing of the yesteryear, namely signature to the 80s funk era. slowly living its revival through funk’s homecoming, we can start to hear more artists use it in their basslines or lead elements. take a good listen to delirious, and you’ll deduce that claes is the master of pitchbend. as well as a polished, defined to the detail, bassline architect who unarguably always cakes his tunes with a rich layer of harmonic, melodic, somber but epic bells, synths and vocal shards. personal favorites and other notable remixes i can’t share on the blog but you need to youtube, are his dinka, flux capacitorvinyl dharma, and kostas skretas remixes.

if you dig, stay on top and keep in touch via facebook here or buy him a cup of coffee here.

The Essence remix is one of the best made tunes ever. The bass is phased SO wide but it still packs power in a mono setting.

Damn, F-E comes back stronger than ever!!

Not only the Diamond Cut tracks were excellent but this Claes Rosen just made my day!

Let’s be honest, Leon & the F-E posse : we missed you so much!

    Cheers!

i like that track, but it sounds to ‘Abletony’. Not enough dynamics, bass is too clean too crisp. I want to hear and believe that that synths I’m hearing are real and feel the artists passion. Even if the synths are real i can’t feel it. Mostly i think its the dynamics though. Cool tune, just sounds a little synthetic.
