poka ’1987′
posted by Leon on February 27th, 2009way out across the seven seas comes a spartan by the name of poka. nafie happened to be surfing myspace when he found poka, and his track 1987. poka told me that this track never ended up getting signed, because of the sampling. the label said “it was too obvious!”
what suprised me more is when he revealed that he sampled Rene & Angela’s “I Love You More” — this guys a beast at sampling
can you hear it? not sure if I can..
hit up poka on gayspace, show him luurv

track was indeed sampled in ian pooley’s “900 degrees” and also in Low Motion Disco – Love Love (L.S.B. Rmx) – last one sounds more like it sampled pooley’s track :)
